February 28 Devotion - Show me Your ways, O Lord

Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

O Eternel, montre-moi le chemin, enseigne-moi quelle est la voie que tu veux que je suive. Dirige-moi selon ta vérité et instruis-moi!
Car c’est toi le Dieu qui me sauve, et je m’attends à toi à longueur de journée.

طرقك يا رب عرّفني. سبلك علمني.

 دربني في حقك وعلمني. لانك انت اله خلاصي. اياك انتظرت اليوم كله.

Psalm 25:4–5

Most of us are familiar with the scripture, in which God said,

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways”

لان افكاري ليست افكاركم ولا طرقكم طرقي يقول الرب.

Isaiah 55:8

Yet many times we fail to see the goodness of this verse. God often takes us places we could never dream of going on our own. His vision is far beyond ours. His might and power open doors for us we thought were permanently closed, or He opens doors we never knew existed.

God has a way of providing all we could ever hope for. The problem comes when we fail to trust Him in times of waiting. Most of us have done this. We want something to take place so badly that we try to convince God to give us what we want now. When we fail to see His immediate response, we often think He is not going to provide what we desire to receive.

Jesus told His disciples and us:

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

لكن اطلبوا اولا ملكوت الله وبره وهذه كلها تزاد لكم .

Matthew 6:33 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, please show me Your plan and desires for me, and help me to wait for Your way to be revealed to me. Help me to seek Your Kingdom and not my own way. Align my desires with Your healthy dreams and goals. I believe that the blessings I will receive will fill my heart with boundless joy. Help me to trust in Your vision for me; which is better than mine by quantum leaps; and to trust that Your might and power will open doors for me that I thought were permanently closed and doors that I never knew existed. Thank You Father God for Your abundant blessings and Your everlasting love. Lord, In Jesus’ name I pray. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

February 27 Devotion - God is Love

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

وَمَنْ لاَ يُحِبُّ لَمْ يَعْرِفِ اللهَ، لأَنَّ اللهَ مَحَبَّةٌ

1 John 4:8

Meditate on Bible verses that illustrate God's love for you. Make it a project to grasp how much God loves you. Read the following verses slowly and prayerfully, and ask God to make them real to you.

The Lord appeared to me from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

Jeremiah 31:3 AMP

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life

John 3:16

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends

John 15:13

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love

John 15:9

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved

Ephesians 2:4-5

Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God

Ephesians 5:2

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit

Titus 3:4-5

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love for me. LORD, I pray that You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith and I can feel Your love for me, and to follow Your commandment to love others as You have loved me. Help me Father God to feel as a conqueror over all things that displease You through Him who loved me. I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. In Your Holy Name Jesus I pray. To You be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.

February 26 Devotion - We are God's co-workers and God's workmanship

For we are both God’s workers and you are God’s field. You are God’s building. As God’s partners we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Ephesians 2:10   

فَإِنَّنَا نَحْنُ جَمِيعاً عَامِلُونَ مَعاً عِنْدَ اللهِ، وَأَنْتُمْ حَقْلُ اللهِ وَبِنَاءُ اللهِ.

وَبِما أنَّنا نَعمَلُ مَعاً مَعَ اللهِ، نَحُثُّكُمْ عَلَى أنْ لا تُبَدِّدُوا نِعمَةَ اللهِ الَّتِي نِلتُمُوها.

 فَنَحنُ عَمَلُ يَدَيّ اللهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَنا فِي المَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ لِلسُّلوكِ في أعمالٍ صالِحَةٍ أعَدَّها لَنا مُقَدَّماً.

We are to work together with God, in promoting the purposes of His glory, and the salvation of precious souls; and God will make sure that we do not labour in vain. We are employed by God and He will carefully look over us. For we are his workmanship - He has saved us through His grace by letting His own son die in our place so that we may show forth the virtues of Him who called us from darkness into His marvelous light. Although we cannot be saved by our good works, yet we are saved that we may perform good works, to the glory of God and the benefit of man.

Abba Father, thank You God that I am Your co-worker and Your workmanship. Thank You God for saving me and creating me anew in Christ Jesus. LORD, I pray that You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can work together with You in promoting the purposes of Your glory, and the salvation of precious souls. Thank You Father for loving me with a deep and everlasting love. Thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Help me God to continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Jesus may continue to dwell in my heart through faith, and I may perform good works, to Your glory God and the benefit of mankind. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory, the majesty, power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
