September 30 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 21 - I am the branch of the true vine, a channel of His life

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

John 15:1-5

Without Jesus we cannot do anything that is spiritually good. Nothing can be accomplished "without Christ”, without His Spirit, grace, strength, and presence. Were it possible for believers that are truly in Him, to be removed from Him, they could bring forth no spiritual fruits or fruits of good works, any more than a branch separated from the vine can bring forth grapes; so that all the fruitfulness of a believer is to be ascribed to Christ, and His grace, and not to our own free will and power.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that I am the branch of the true vine, a channel of Jesus’ life. Lord, thank You that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Thank You Jesus, I pray that You abide in me, and I in You. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can I, unless I abide in You Jesus. Strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can bear much fruit; for without You Jesus I can do nothing. I pray to You Father God, in the holy name of Jesus. To Jesus be the glory, the majesty, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

September 29 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 20 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

Philippians 4:13

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit;

for without Me you can do nothing.

«أنا الكَرمَةُ، وَأنتُمُ الأغصانُ. فَمَنْ يَثبُتُ فِيَّ وَأثبُتُ أنا فِيْهِ، يُنتِجُ ثَمَراً كَثِيْراً. فَأنتُمْ لا تَستَطِيْعُونَ أنْ تَفعَلُوا شَيْئاً بِدُونِي.

John 15:5

I can do all things that are in accordance to the will of God and that are aligned with God’s plan for my life, through abiding in Jesus Christ who gives me strength, ability, direction, patience, tolerance and wisdom and guides me to bear much fruit.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God and that I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Father God, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love, Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. LORD, strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can abide in Jesus and carry out Your will for my life and bear much fruit. To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

September 28 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 19 - I may approach God with freedom and confidence

..in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

Ephesians 3:12

Christ is the way of access to God; through his mediation we, his people, have audience of God. We can come to The Throne of God with boldness, meaning we have been given liberty of speech to The Father, such as children use in addressing a generous father. We can ask of God without fear all our needs and wants. It is on the basis of such scriptures as these that we need to conclude all our prayers in the name, and for the sake, of Jesus Christ our Lord.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for allowing me to approach You with freedom and confidence. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ and I can come boldly to the throne of our gracious God where I will receive His mercy, and I will find grace to help me when I need it most. Hebrews 4:16.

Abba Father, strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord, Saviour, and Friend. Father God, thank You that Your deep steadfast love for me endures forever. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion before all time and now and forevermore. Amen.

September 27 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 18 - I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

John 15:16

The relationship of the disciples with Jesus commenced when they had no affection for him. The same applies to us as followers of Jesus, He graciously inclined us by His Holy Spirit to seek Him; and commenced the work of our personal salvation.

Whatever talents and blessings we possess as Christians, we owe to God, and by the most tender and sacred ties we are bound to be His followers. We are chosen to do good, and to spread as far as possible all the spiritual blessings which the gospel confers on mankind. We must recognize Jesus Christ as the only Mediator between God and us, proclaim His salvation, and pray in His name.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God and I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit. Thank You Lord that You redeemed me and granted me forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of Your grace. LORD, I pray that You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can continue to declare to the world that Jesus Christ is The Saviour of mankind, and I may bear fruit and that my fruit may last. I pray in the Holy Name of Jesus my Saviour, Redeemer, and Mediator to You Father. To Jesus be the glory, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

In Him,

September 26 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 17 - I am assured all things work together for good

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28

The persons in whose behalf all things work for good are those that love God, have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and made Him Lord over their lives, and consequently, who live in the spirit of obedience.

All tribulations, or afflictions, or persecutions that may arise, God uses them and converts them to contribute to the general good of the person who loves God, and who is led by faith under the direction and guidance of The Holy Spirit.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that You make all things, including tribulations and afflictions, to work together for my good. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Lord, I worship You, trust You, praise You, glorify You, stand in awe of You and submit to Your wisdom in all things. Thank You Lord, that in my weakest moments, You assure me that the power of Christ will rest upon me. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can always declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Jesus may continue to dwell in my heart through faith. Father God, I pray to You in the name of Your precious Son; my Redeemer and Saviour; the Lord of my life, Jesus Christ. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion before all time and now and forevermore. Amen.

September 23 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 16 - I am established, anointed, sealed by God

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

The objective of this verse is to trace all to God, and to prevent the appearance of self-confidence, or of boasting. It was customary to anoint kings, prophets, and priests on their entering into their office as a part of the ceremony of inauguration. It is applied often to the Messiah as being set apart, or consecrated to his office as prophet, priest, and King - that is, as appointed by God to the highest office ever held in the world. It is applied also to Christians as being consecrated or set apart to the service of God by the Holy Spirit - a use of the word, which is derived from the sense of consecrating, or setting apart to the service of God. The word sealed is important here, because once we acknowledge Jesus as our Saviour and let Him dominate over our lives, we are saved, and our salvation is sealed and cannot be taken away from us.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I am established, anointed, and sealed by God. Abba Father thank You that You redeemed me and granted me forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of Your grace. LORD, thank You that You established me with You in Christ and that You anointed me and also sealed me and given me the Holy Spirit in my heart as a guarantee. I rejoice that as a believer I am being consecrated or set apart to the service of God by the Holy Spirit. God, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can continue to declare to the world that I am established, anointed, and sealed by God. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the majesty, the authority, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:35-39 New Living Translation (NLT)

God’s love for His children, the ones who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour and made Him Lord over their lives, can never change or be altered by whatever means or circumstances. Nothing we can do can make God love us any more or any less —indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God for us that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate me from Your love for me God, that is revealed in Christ Jesus my Lord. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that Jesus bought me with His precious blood and that through Jesus’ redemptive work at The Cross I am granted access to You God, my Heavenly Father. I rejoice that I will spend eternity with You. Father God, I pray that You strengthen me to behave in a such a way that pleases Your spirit within me. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

September 20 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 13 - I have access to God through the Holy Spirit

Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

Ephesians 2:18

Through Jesus, we all have access through the influence of the Holy Spirit, unto our Heavenly Father God Almighty. No spirit can have access to God except through Jesus Christ, and Jesus only introduces to God the spirit that has received His Holy Spirit. Jesus said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I have access to God through the Holy Spirit because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Lord, I praise You and glorify You. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Holy Spirit so that I can continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Jesus may continue to dwell in my heart through faith. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

September 19 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 12 - I am a minister of reconciliation for God

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

To reconcile is to exchange enmity for friendship, and it usually requires that the cause of enmity or hostility be removed. The cause of hostility between God and man was removed by Jesus taking on the sins of the world. It is now possible for us to have a personal relationship with God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, Jesus’ blood makes it possible for God to change our status from being an enemy of God back into a right relationship with Him. Christ’s blood is the bridge, the peace offering that reconciles us to God. We are given a ministry of reconciliation to help people come to Christ and be reconciled to God and to help people reconcile amongst themselves and live in the love of Christ.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I as a follower of Your Son Jesus am reconciled to You God through the atoning death of Jesus on The Cross on my behalf.  Thank You God that through Jesus, I can have a personal relationship with You God. My heavenly Father, strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can become an ambassador for Christ and bring the message of reconciliation to all, for it is Your desire that all people be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 Abba Father, thank You that Your deep steadfast love for me endures forever. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Romans 8:31-34

God justified us, which means He declared us not guilty, because by the gift of faith we have accepted Christ as Saviour. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that my DNA reveals that I as a follower of Your Son Jesus I am free from any charge against me. Thank You God that You now see me through Christ’s righteousness instead of through my sin. Thank You God that Your justifying love allows me to stand accepted before You. Thank You God that You are for me, and whoever is against me does not even compare to You. Thank You Jesus for Your crucifixion and ascension, and for Your intercession on my behalf to God. Father God, I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love, Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. September 15 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 10 - I am a citizen of Heaven. I am significant

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ

Philippians 3:20

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father,  thank You that You have bestowed me with the honour of being a citizen of heaven, where You and Jesus dwell. So, my citizenship is not of this world but of heaven. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Thank You Lord that You redeemed me and granted me forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of Your grace. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Jesus may continue to dwell in my heart through faith. September 13 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 9 - I am free forever from condemnation

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-2

In Romans 7, the Apostle Paul said: ‘So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin’ meaning that the Law could not affect deliverance from sin. In Romans 8 he states ‘There is, therefore, now’ deliverance and it is related to the gospel alone. This applies only to those who have surrendered their lives to Christ and accepted the fact that He bore their sins in His own body at The Cross and have declared Him as their Lord and Saviour.

God has justified us, or declared us not guilty, because by the gift of faith we have accepted Christ as Saviour. Because Christ has already endured the penalty of our sins and obeyed the precept of the Law in our behalf, there is no condemnation whatever, not only no final condemnation, but no condemnation now.

This does not mean a license to sin, on the contrary. By accepting Jesus as Lord over our lives the Spirit of God is conveyed into our hearts through The Holy Spirit and we are delivered from sin.

Our union with Christ is compared to that between the vine and its branches John 15:1-6, and hence, we believers are in Him in a similar sense, as deriving our support from Him, and as united in feeling, in purpose, and destiny. Out of love for Jesus and through the Holy Spirit we live in obedience to God.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and love. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that; I as a follower of Your Son Jesus; I am free forever from condemnation. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can live by the spirit and not by the flesh. Father God, I praise You and glorify You. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory, and the power and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

September 12 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 8 - I am a member of the body of Christ

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

1 Corinthians 12:27

The Church is the body of Christ and Christ is the head. The Apostle Paul states the truth that the church is one, as the body is one, yet has many members, so is it with the church. The body has many members, and no members in the body are useless, but all perform important parts, however unimportant they may seem to be; and no one member can say that it has no need of the others. So it is in the church. As members of The Church of Christ (global) all believers are members of the body of Christ.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that that my DNA reveals that I am a member of the body of Christ and that Jesus bought me with His precious blood and through Jesus’ redemptive work at The Cross I am granted access to You God, my Heavenly Father and I will spend eternity with You. Lord, strengthen me to continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Friend and behave in such a way that pleases Your spirit within me. Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love, Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Father God I pray to You in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; Your living Son; to whom be honour, power, dominion and glory forever and ever. Amen.

In Him,
