March 31 Devotion - Part 4 -The Fruit of The Spirit - Goodness and Faithfulness

 

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. 

واما ثمر الروح فهو محبة فرح سلام طول اناة لطف صلاح ايمان

وداعة تعفف.

Galatians 5:22–23

 

 

Goodness is love choosing to do what is right … in God’s eyes.

 

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power

 

مِنْ أجلِ هَذا نُصَلِّي لأجلِكُمْ دائِماً، طالِبِينَ مِنْ إلَهِنا أنْ يَجعَلَكُمْ مُستَحِقِّينَ لِلحَياةِ الَّتِي دَعاكُمْ إلَيها، وَأنَّ يُحَقِّقَ بِقُدرَتِهِ كُلَّ نَواياكُمِ الصّالِحَةِ وَكُلِّ عَمَلٍ نابِعٍ مِنْ إيمانِكُمْ.

 

2 Thessalonians 1:11

 

For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth

فَإِنَّ ثَمَرَ النُّورِ يَكُونُ فِي كُلِّ صَلاحٍ وَاسْتِقَامَةٍ وَحَقٍّ.

 

Ephesians 5:9

 

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

 إِنَّمَا خَيْرٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ يَتْبَعَانِنِي طَوَالَ حَيَاتِي، وَيَكُونُ بَيْتُ الرَّبِّ مَسْكَناً لِي مَدَى الأَيَّامِ.

Psalm 23:6

 

 

Faithfulness (faith) is love in keeping commitments in relationships. Only The Holy Spirit can produce the quality of loyalty no matter the cost.

 

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

 

يَا رَبُّ أَنْتَ إِلَهِي، أُعَظِّمُكَ وَأَحْمَدُ اسْمَكَ لأَنَّكَ صَنَعْتَ عَجَائِبَ كُنْتُ قَد قَضَيْتَ بِها مُنْذُ الْقِدَمِ، وَهِيَ حَقٌّ وَصِدْقٌ. 

Isaiah 25:1

 

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail.
²³ They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

 

مِنْ إِحْسَانَاتِ الرَّبِّ أَنَّنَا لَمْ نَفْنَ، لأَنَّ مَرَاحِمَهُ لَا تَزُولُ. 23 تَتَجَدَّدُ فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ. فَائِقَةٌ أَمَانَتُكَ.

Lamentations 3:22-23

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, I pray that Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. Great is Your faithfulness. O’ gracious and merciful God, fill my heart with the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your everlasting, inseparable, unfailing, and deep love for me. God please count me worthy of this devotion ministry calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of Your goodness, and the work of faith with power. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I always exalt You Lord, and praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things for me. Your counsels to me have always been faithful and true. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus my Lord and Saviour to whom be power and glory forever and ever. Amen.

March 28 Devotion - Part 3 - The Fruit of The Spirit - Patience and Kindness

 

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

 وَأَمَّا ثَمَرُ الرُّوحِ فَهُوَ: مَحَبَّةٌ فَرَحٌ سَلاَمٌ، طُولُ أَنَاةٍ لُطْفٌ صَلاَحٌ، إِيمَانٌ وَدَاعَةٌ تَعَفُّفٌ

Galatians 5:22–23

 

•  Patience (Longsuffering) is love waiting for God to reveal to you, and in you, what He desires to reveal.

We are strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;

أنْ تَتَقَوُّوا بِكُلِّ قُوَّةٍ نابِعَةٍ مِنْ قُوَّتِهِ المَجِيدَةِ فَتَصَبِرُوا وَتَتَحَمَّلُوا المَشَقّات بِفَرَحٍ.

Colossians 1:11

 

With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love

 

أظهِرُوا فِي كُلِّ ظَرفٍ تَواضُعاً وَوَداعَةً وَصَبراً، مُحتَمِلِينَ بَعضُكُمْ بَعضاً فِي المَحَبَّةِ.

 

Ephesians 4:2

 

Kindness is love reacting to those around you. Kindness and goodness are joined with patience to teach us that a sweet disposition and doing good toward people is the way to stay with them in love.

 

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

فَالبَسُوا ثَوباً يَلِيقُ بِأبناءٍ مُختارِينَ وَمُقَدَّسِينَ وَمَحبُوبِيْنَ مِنَ اللهِ: ثَوبَ الشَّفَقَةِ، وَاللُّطفِ، وَالتَّواضُعِ، وَالوَداعَةِ، وَالصَّبْرِ.

 Colossians 3:12

 

 I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, please fill my heart with the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. Help me Lord to be patient and to find Your joy in longsuffering situations. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I may bear others in gentleness and love and be able to do good toward them. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings and Your inseparable, deep, and everlasting love for me. O gracious and merciful God, I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, I lift You up on high, and glorify Your holy name. To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen. Jude 1:24-25

March 27 Devotion - The Fruit of The Spirit - Part 2 - Joy and Peace

 

The fruit of the Spirit is:

 

1. love,

 

2. joy,

 

3. peace,

 

4. patience,

 

5. kindness,

 

6. goodness,

 

7. faithfulness,

 

8. gentleness,

 

9. self-control.
10. أَمَّا ثَمَرُ الرُّوحِ فَهُوَ: الْمَحَبَّةُ وَالْفَرَحُ وَالسَّلامُ، وَطُولُ الْبَالِ وَاللُّطْفُ وَالصَّلاحُ، وَالأَمَانَةُ  وَالْوَدَاعَةُ وَضَبْطُ النَّفْسِ.  

Galatians 5:22–23

 

Joy is love enjoying all the goodness of God. The first result of true love in relationships is the evidence of joy.

 

The joy of the Lord is your strength.

 

فَفَرَحُ الرَّبِّ هُوَ قُوَّتُكُمْ

 

Nehemiah 8:10

 

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

الرَّبُّ قُوَّتِي وَتُرْسِي. عَلَيْهِ اتَّكَلَ قَلْبِي، فَنِلْتُ الْغَوْثَ. لِذَلِكَ يَبْتَهِجُ قَلْبِي وَأَحْمَدُهُ بِنَشِيدِي.

Psalm 28:7

 

  Peace is love resting on the promises of God.

 

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

 

فَبِمَا أَنَّنَا قَدْ تَبَرَّرْنَا عَلَى أَسَاسِ الإِيمَانِ، صِرْنَا فِي سَلامٍ مَعَ اللهِ بِرَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ.

 

Romans 5:1

 

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

فَلْيَمْلأْكُمْ إِلهُ الرَّجَاءِ كُلَّ فَرَحٍ وَسَلامٍ فِي إِيمَانِكُمْ حَتَّى تَزْدَادُوا رَجَاءً بِقُوَّةِ الرُّوحِ القُدُسِ.

 

Romans 15:13

May the Lord show favor toward you, and give you peace.

 يَلْتَفِتُ الرَّبُّ بِوَجْهِهِ إِلَيْكَ وَيَمْنَحُكَ سَلاماً.

 

Numbers 6:26

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your unfailing, inseparable, deep, and everlasting love. O gracious and merciful God, fill my heart with the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. Let me enjoy all Your goodness Lord so that my heart will be filled with Your joy and Your peace which is above my comprehension. Let Your strength be manifested in my life. My God of hope, I trust in You. Lord, I praise You, glorify You, and lift You up on high. In the holy name of Jesus my Lord and Saviour I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the majesty, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
