May 6 Devotion - May Christ Dwell in Your Hearts Through Faith

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3: 14-21

The Apostle Paul was the one who brought the Gospel to many of the gentiles. He felt responsible to pray for their spiritual growth, maturity, and development. He was praying specifically for them to be strengthened with power through God's Spirit.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and deep inseparable love. Lord, I praise You and glorify you. I pray Father God that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith, and that I can comprehend the fathomless love of Christ. Abba, please grant me according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit. Form me Lord so that I may be rooted and grounded in love, and through Your grace Father, fill me up to Your fullness. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Jesus Loves you

May 5 Devotion - THE RICHES OF GOD'S GRACE

having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Ephesians 1:5-6

Ephesians 1:5–6 teaches us that God’s will was to adopt us as His own through the work of Christ. God’s will is that we would have the strongest possible relationship with Him through the most precious relationship He has ever created which is His relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.
Every believer in Jesus as his/her Lord and Saviour is immensely loved by God and we are adopted into His spiritual family, we are His children. Salvation is a position of great blessing, each one of us can enjoy being a child of God and receive His blessings and gifts of mercy and grace and start living eternity NOW.

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Mathew 7:9-11

I invite you to please repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and deep inseparable love. Thank You Father who is in heaven that when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour and surrendered to His leadership over my life, I was adopted into Your family and that I am now loved and accepted by You. Thank You God for the riches of Your grace. Thank You that You have said that as Your children we can come boldly to Your throne of grace, and obtain mercy, in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. Father God, I come boldly to Your throne of grace and ask You to help me to always seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, for Jesus said that when we seek them first, all other things will be added unto us. In Jesus’ name I pray, To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,

May 4 Devotion - God's Guidance

A man’s steps are of the Lord;
How then can a man understand his own way?
Proverbs 20:24
I wondered about this verse and how it impacts my daily life. I believe it means that my knowledge and experience which I depend on a lot in my decisions and actions are nothing, zero, nada, when compared to God’s knowledge, wisdom and His knowledge of His divine plan for my life. So in comparison how can I understand my own way? I need to involve God in every minute decision and action in order to receive His direction for my life. I believe that God wants us to be totally connected and dependent on Him. Our connection with Him is not to be kept only for big problems or decisions, or just on Sundays.
Jesus said: I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and deep inseparable love. Lord, I thank You that You love me so much and enjoy my fellowship with You that You want to be involved in every action in my life. Help me Lord to move from my semi-independent mode to a totally dependent mode on Your direction, guidance, wisdom, grace, mercy and unconditional love. Jesus, You are the vine and I am the branch and I am nothing without You. Help me to abide in You.
I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and I pray in His Holy Name. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.
Jesus loves you,
In Him,

May 1 Devotion - Praying during persecution and suffering

There are many Christians feeling persecution today in many countries. One of these countries is Iraq as there are more stories of beheaded Christians.
Our first reaction may be anger, let us remember what God Himself said:

Vengeance is Mine

Deuteronomy 32
What we can do is to pray for all Christians in suffering, and for the Christians of Egypt, Iraq, Syria and the entire Middle-East and seek The Lord’s guidance and wisdom and comfort to our feelings and actions, for we know that:
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
We listen to the words of the Apostles James and Paul as they tell us:
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him…

James 1:2-5

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
Colossians 1:9-12

To all Christians who are in suffering let us rejoice in the prayer and promise:

24 “The LORD bless you and keep you;
 25 The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;
26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,  And give you peace.”’
Numbers 6:24-26

The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Psalm 121:8
