October 14 Devotion - Attitude

We work [for our living], working hard with our own hands. When we are reviled and verbally abused, we bless. When we are persecuted, we take it patiently and endure.
1 Corinthians 4:12 AMP

Endurance is not just the ability to bear a hard thing; it is the ability to turn it into glory.
You have probably discovered that the hardest times to remember the basic truths of God’s Word are during periods of pain or difficulty.

With the right attitude you can make it a habit to view every situation through the filter of God’s perspective.

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose
Romans 8:28 AMP

If you believe that God will bring good out of the situation somehow, then pessimistic thinking finds no permanent home in your heart. Adopt the right attitude and over time, your emotions gradually align with the truth.
Always remember that the Lord will give you His perspective if you ask Him to.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your unfailing, deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name.
LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can have Your divine perspective and the right attitude. Keep me away from discouragement, worry, and self-sufficiency. Lord please help me to focus on You instead of my circumstances. I know that hurting does not mean that You do not care about me. Your promises are true Lord, and You will change all the circumstances to work for my good. In Jesus’ name I pray. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

October 13 Devotion - Sow what you want to Reap

..Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets….. A man reaps what he sows.

Matthew 7:12
Galatians 6:7

It is amazing sometimes to see how some people sow self indulgence, selfishness and hate and expect to treated in a caring, serving and loving way.
If we sow love, mercy, prayer and blessings into the lives of others that is what we will reap in our own lives in return.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your unfailing, deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name. Help me Father to be aware of my thoughts and behaviour, and help me to treat others as I would want them to treat me. Direct my thoughts and prayers today God so that I can be a blessing to others. Strengthen me to honour You in everything I do. In Jesus’ name I pray. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,

October 9 Devotion - Achieving Your Life Message

But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. 21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. 23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,
I Corinthians 12:12-23

God builds a life message in many different ways. Each one of us has a different message. All the members of the body are useful and necessary to each other.Though you may gain many insightful lessons from those who are strong in their faith, your life is unique and special before God. He has a message for you that no one else can share. Christ’s church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional part.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and unfailing love. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can clearly see and know Your message for my life in a very obvious way and guide me to fulfill my role in The Body of Christ.
Lord, give me a love for Your Word. Teach me to study Your Word and to keep it. You are my portion, O Lord; help me to develop spiritually. Guide me God in meditation and worship. Give me the discipline and determination to spend time alone with Jesus. Give me victory O’Lord over my thoughts and the enemy to my soul and keep me on course. God I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. I thank You and adore You. In the name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, to Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever,  and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Jesus loves you,
In Him,

October 8 Devotion - Rejoice before God

But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, 9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

Psalm 68:3
Psalm 107:8-9

Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, after God, and communion with him, shall be filled with the goodness of his house, both in grace and glory.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your unfailing, deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. Lord fill my heart, soul, and mind with Your joy, help me to exceedingly rejoice and to know an internal peace and gladness. Teach me to express an outward expression of joy and love and caring for others that depicts Your wonderful deeds for me and Your spirit and love. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name. Lord, thank You for the gift of salvation and unfailing love through Jesus Christ Your Son, and my Lord and Saviour. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,
