October 18 Devotion - Do Not Give Up

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

فلا نفشل في عمل الخير لاننا سنحصد في وقته ان كنا لا نكل.

Galatians 6:9

We all have God-given dreams and desires. Sometimes it seems to take longer to accomplish our goals than we originally thought, or things do not work out at all.

It's easy to lose enthusiasm and end up just settling where we are. But God doesn't want us to settle, He wants to take us higher. But many times, we miss out on God's best simply because we give up too soon. Sometimes we do not realize how close we are to victory.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love for me, Your abundant blessings, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. God, help me not to give up just because things seem hard. Help me to stay on course in faith; and see my situation turn around. God I know You are on my side and You will help fulfil every desire You have placed on my heart. Help me Lord to continue doing good, and never give up trusting You in all faith that I will reap the harvest You have chosen for me, in Your timing. Help me Lord to always say, feel and be trustful in that “I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 I pray in Jesus' name, to Him be the power, the glory and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

October 17 Devotion- Transforming failure to Success

Wealth and riches are in His house; and His righteousness endures forever.

Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Blessings and prosperity will be yours.

رغد وغنى في بيته وبره قائم الى الابد‏.

 واثقا بهذا عينه ان الذي ابتدأ فيكم عملا صالحا يكمل الى يوم يسوع المسيح.

طوباك وخير لك.

Psalm 112:3, Philippians 1:6, Psalm 128:2

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” That approach is taught all over the world. As Christians, we tend to integrate this attitude into our walk with Christ. If we fail to conquer certain habits, or disobey key Scripture verses, we keep trying on our own strength. Although perseverance is necessary, determination alone will not cure our problems.

We need to admit our failure and realize that we can do nothing apart from the support and strength of The Holy Spirit. Failure can be a catalyst that converts our methods from trying to trusting.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love for me, Your abundant blessings, and for the riches of Your grace in my life. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can make the transition from trying on my own to trusting in Your power. Lord I know that Your house is full of riches; and that Your righteousness endures forever. I am confident that if You set me on a direction or path You will complete it in spite of the trials and snares that are in my way; and that blessings and prosperity will be mine. Lord, I know that without The Holy Spirit acting on my behalf I cannot accomplish Your will. I trust and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, my redeemer. To Him be the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion both now and forever. Amen.

October 14 Devotion - Be Happy

Whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Proverbs 16:20, Psalm 16:11

هَنِيئاً لِمَنْ يَثِقُ بِاللهِ

مَعكَ أشبَعُ سُرُورا.
أسْعَدُ، وَأنا بِجانِبِكَ، إلَى الأبَدِ!

Today I choose to make it a time to be happy, to be in God’s presence and therefore be full of joy, and stay at His right hand and find pleasures forevermore.  

You may say this is not sound doctrine, and I reply: Be happy and rejoice for this is the day The LORD has made.

This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.

هَذا هُوَ اليَومُ الَّذِي صَنَعَهُ اللهُ،
لِنَبتَهِجْ وَنَفرَحْ فِيهِ!

Psalm 118:24

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:   

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love for me, Your abundant blessings, and for the riches of Your grace in my life. Heavenly Father, please continue to teach me to trust in You so that I can be transformed to be Christ like, to feel Your joy, to be happy, to live Your good and pleasing will for my life. A life full of pleasures forevermore. Lord, fill my heart with laughter and my tongue with songs of joy in appreciation of your blessings bringing all my thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ. I pray in Jesus’ mighty name, to Him be the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion both now and forever. Amen.

October 13 Devotion- Ordered Steps

 The steps of a good man/woman are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his/her way.

من قبل الرب تتثبت خطوات الانسان وفي طريقه يسرّ.

Psalm 37:23 

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

اعلّمك وارشدك الطريق التي تسلكها. انصحك. عيني عليك.

Psalm 32:8

We all need God’s support; even the most powerful must be supported by the Lord, without His support their strength and courage will be of no avail.

When we seek God and surrender to Jesus as our Lord and Saviour; our steps are established by The LORD and we will delight in His choice for our lives. God will teach us and guide us with His eye upon us.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:                                                                                                                                                             

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love for me, Your abundant blessings, and for the riches of Your grace in my life. Lord, by Your grace and The Holy Spirit, establish and guide my steps. Help me to stay in faith and put You first in my life. I trust that You are at work in my life even during times when I don't understand it. I am confident that Your guidance has placed me where I am supposed to be right now. Give me the strength and courage to do what is right in Your sight to Your delight. Thank You that Through Your grace and mercy You care so much about every detail of my life. God I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and I pray in His mighty name. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
