September 10 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 8 - I am a member of the body of Christ

 

 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

1 Corinthians 12:27

واما انتم فجسد المسيح واعضاؤه افرادا.

 

The Church is the body of Christ and Christ is the head. The Apostle Paul states the truth that the church is one, as the body is one, yet has many members, so is it with the church. The body has many members, and no members in the body are useless, but all perform important parts, however unimportant they may seem to be; and no one member can say that it has no need of the others. So it is in the church. As members of The Church of Christ (global) all believers are members of the body of Christ.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that that my DNA reveals that I am a member of the body of Christ and that Jesus bought me with His precious blood and through Jesus’ redemptive work at The Cross I am granted access to You God, my Heavenly Father and I will spend eternity with You. Lord, strengthen me to continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Friend and behave in such a way that pleases Your spirit within me. Abba Father, thank You for Your deep and everlasting love, Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Father God I pray to You in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; Your living Son; to whom be honour, power, dominion and glory forever and ever. Amen.

September 9 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 7 - I am the salt & light of the earth

 

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

انتم ملح الارض .ولكن ان فسد الملح فبماذا يملح .لا يصلح بعد لشيء الا لان يطرح خارجا ويداس من الناس .

14 انتم نور العالم .لا يمكن ان تخفى مدينة موضوعة على جبل .

Matthew 5:13-14

Please note that Jesus never challenges us to become salt or light. He simply says that we are - and we are either fulfilling or failing that responsibility. Salt is needed because the world is rotting and decaying and if our Christianity is also rotting and decaying, it won't be any good. Light is needed because the world is in darkness, and if our Christianity imitates the darkness, we have nothing to show the world. To be effective we must seek to be Christlike in everything we say and do all the time.

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, I pray that You make me more and more like Your Son so that I can fulfill the responsibility of being the salt and the light to everyone I am in contact with even if it is virtual in these social distancing times. I Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that Jesus bought me with His precious blood and through Jesus’ redemptive work at The Cross I am granted access to You God, my Heavenly Father and I will spend eternity with You. To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen. Jude 1:24-25. وَلِلْقَادِرِ أَنْ يَحْرُسَكُمْ مِنَ السُّقُوطِ حَتَّى يُوصِلَكُمْ إِلَى الْمُثُولِ أَمَامَهُ فِي الْمَجْدِ مُبْتَهِجِينَ وَلا عَيْبَ فِيكُمْ. ²⁵ لِلهِ الْوَاحِدِ، مُخَلِّصِنَا بِيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ رَبِّنَا الْمَجْدُ وَالْجَلالُ وَالْقُدْرَةُ وَالسُّلْطَةُ، مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ كَانَ الزَّمَانُ، وَالآنَ وَطَوَالَ الأَزْمَانِ. آمِين!

September 8 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 6 - I am a personal witness of Christ

 

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

لكنكم ستنالون قوة متى حل الروح القدس عليكم وتكونون لي شهودا في اورشليم وفي كل اليهودية والسامرة والى اقصى الارض

Acts 1:8

We each have a role to talk about the good news and the truth about Jesus to all those who do not believe and/or do not know the good news and the truth. Do you know anyone whom you can help? Even if you just forward devotions to them, that is a beginning.

Here is the good news:

“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life”.

لانه هكذا احب الله العالم حتى بذل ابنه الوحيد لكي لا يهلك كل من يؤمن به بل تكون له الحياة الابدية          

John 3:16

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that Jesus bought me with His precious blood and through Jesus’ redemptive work at The Cross I am granted access to You God, my Heavenly Father and I will spend eternity with You. Expand my focus Jesus, and bring me into harmony with Your divine purpose of reaching the world with the good news of the gospel and the truth about Your identity. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me and spiritually energize me with power through Your Spirit in my innermost being and personality, so that I can help others become Your followers. Abba Father, thank You that Your deep steadfast love for me endures forever. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Jesus be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
