November 13 Devotion - Your Name is Inscribed on God's Palm

 

Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;

  هَلْ تَنْسَى الْمَرْأَةُ رَضِيعَهَا وَلاَ تَرْحَمُ ابْنَ أَحْشَائِهَا؟ حَتَّى هَؤُلاَءِ يَنْسَيْنَ، أَمَّا أَنَا فَلاَ أَنْسَاكُمْ.  .

  انْظُرُوا هَا أَنَا قَدْ نَقَشْتُكِ ُ عَلَى كَفِّي

  Isaiah 49:15-16

God loves us so very much. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 and now the eyes of the Father are forever focused on us because of Christ’s atoning death on the cross for us.

God will never forget us; the followers of Christ; for He has inscribed our names on the palms of His Hands. Neither will He forget the church, the body of believers.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, forgive me if at times I feel that You have forgotten me. Increase my faith so as to know, believe, and trust that You never forget me. I am privileged and thankful that as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ; Your only begotten Son; that I am so precious to You, that my name is written on the palms of Your hands. Thank You Lord  for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, inseparable and everlasting love. Lord I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. Father, I pray to You in the name of The King of kings and The Lord of lords, in the holy name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour, to whom be honour, glory and power forever and ever. Amen.

November 12 Devotion - Trust in The Lord

 

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

الاحتماء بالرب خير من التوكل على انسان

توكل على الرب بكل قلبك وعلى فهمك لا تعتمد.  في كل طرقك اعرفه وهو يقوم سبلك. وسلام الله الذي يفوق كل عقل يحفظ قلوبكم وافكاركم في المسيح يسوع

 Psalm 118:8, Proverbs 3:5-6

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me and spiritually energize me with power through Your Spirit in my innermost being and personality, so that I can totally trust in You LORD than to put confidence in people. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, I lift You up on high, and glorify Your Holy Name. I rejoice in the fact that You are directing my path and that through Jesus; my Lord and Saviour; my heart and mind are guarded. In Jesus’ name I pray. To Jesus be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

November 11 Devotion - I am living in God's strength

 

Sometimes I feel weary with sorrow but then God strengthens me according to His word. I realize that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak and those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. I can do everything (that is in accordance with God’s will) through Christ who strengthens me. God is my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. I am therefore strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

 نَفْسِي ذَائِبَةٌ مِنَ الْحُزْنِ. قَوِّنِي بِحَسَبِ وَعْدِكَ يُعْطِي قُوَّةً لِلمُتعَبِ

وَلِعَدِيمِ القُوَّةِ يَمْنَحُ قُدرَةً أسْتَطِيعُ أنْ أُواجِهَ كُلَّ الظُّرُوفِ بِالمَسِيحِ الَّذِي يُقَوِّينِي مَلجَأُنَا وَقُوَّتُنَا هُوَ اللهُ.

هُوَ مُعِينٌ يَسْهُلُ إلَيْهِ الوُصُولُ فِي الضِّيقَاتِ وَفِي الخِتَامِ أقُولُ لَكُمْ: تَحَصَّنُوا بِالرَّبِّ وَبِقُوَّتِهِ الهَائِلَةِ.....

The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Isaiah 12:2. Lord, in my weakest moments, assure me that the power of Christ will rest upon me. Your grace is sufficient for me. I believe that when your grace abounds my weakness will be transformed into strength and I will soar like an eagle and I shall run and not be weary. Isaiah 12:2  In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
