July 6 Devotion - Let's be Compassionate

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Philippians 2:4

Matthew 7:5

We are to break the spirit of selfishness, and to have a benevolent regard for the happiness of others. Jesus teaches us to be kind to one another and to love our neighbour as we love ourselves. We need to be compassionate one to another in order to experience the benefit of God’s compassion toward us. While we should be concerned for believers’ interests, we are not to interfere in their business.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, please teach me, strengthen and guide me, to care about others as much as I care about myself. Help me to esteem others and look upon and be concerned for their interests. Give me wisdom to give them advice, and humility to not insist that they follow my advice or be offended if they do not follow it. Lord, give me insight and self-awareness to be able to see my own defects, and grant me kindness to make allowances for the defects of others. Lord strip me from any pride that may be hindering me from carrying out your commandments. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings and for Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. To Jesus be the majesty, the power, the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,

July 5 Devotion - Jesus Wants His Joy Fulfilled in Us

“I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me,

that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves….

20I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word.”

John 17:9-20

Jesus is praying for you and me and for all other believers who have declared Him as their Lord and Saviour. He is requesting from The Father that we may experience Jesus’ joy fulfilled in us, and that Jesus’ enjoyment be perfected in our souls. He requests that our hearts be filled with His gladness.

Feeling joyful is what everyone wants, and we believers should be the most joyful, for our salvation is guaranteed through Christ. The Apostle Paul said:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Philippians 4:4

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Thank You Jesus for praying for me to The Father. Heavenly Father I long to experience Jesus’ delight fulfilled in me, and Jesus’ enjoyment perfected in my soul. I long to have my heart filled with His gladness. Fill me God totally and envelop me with Your Grace, so that I can feel an inner joy independent of circumstances. Jesus You said: “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11 Jesus I long for and pray that Your Joy remains in me and that my Joy be full and that I always rejoice in You. Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and for Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. Father God, I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. In the holy name of Jesus, I pray. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, to Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

July 1 Devotion - Jehovah-Raah (The Lord My Shepherd)

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Psalm 100:3

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

John 10:11

God has always provided for His people through His unlimited resources. What a fantastic feeling it is to know that God’s love for us is so infinite that Jesus laid down His life to redeem us.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You Lord that Your power is absolute. Your provision is the alpha and the omega; it extends from the provision for the body to the provision of eternity. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings and for Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love. Thank You for always providing for me. God, I praise You, glorify You and lift You up on high. . In the name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the holy name of Jesus I pray. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, to Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,
