July 25 Devotion - Suffering leads to Hope

Suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.  وليس ذلك

فقط بل نفتخر ايضا في الضيقات عالمين ان الضيق ينشئ صبرا

Romans 5:3-4

 Suffering

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love for me.  Lord please grant me out of the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through Your Spirit in my inner self, indwelling my innermost being and personality so that I can convert any suffering in my life to an increased hope through an increase in my perseverance level, and improvement and strength in my character. God, I rejoice in the fact that all things will work for good in my life. Romans 8:28 Help me Lord to always have an attitude of gratitude. Lord increase my love for You, my trust in You, and my dependence on You. In the name of The King of kings and Lord of lords, my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I pray. To Jesus be the majesty, the glory, the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.

July 22 Devotion - Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20

. لاَ تَنْتَقِمُوا لأَنْفُسِكُمْ، أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاءُ، بَلْ دَعُوا الْغَضَبَ لِلهِ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ كُتِبَ: «لِيَ الانْتِقَامُ، أَنَا أُجَازِي، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ». ²⁰

Romans 12:19

To "avenge" is to take satisfaction for an injury by inflicting punishment on the offender.

The command is, to avoid a spirit and purpose of revenge. But this command in my opinion is not to be so understood that we may not seek for "justice" in a regular and proper way before civil tribunals.

If our character is assaulted, if we are robbed and plundered, if we are oppressed contrary to the law of the land, Christianity does not require us to submit to such oppression and injury without seeking our rights in an orderly and regular manner. If it did, it would be to give a premium to iniquity, to countenance, wickedness, and require a person, by becoming a Christian, to abandon his/her rights.

Help me to forgive and to act in a Christ-like way without abandoning my rights. To Him be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.

July 21 Devotion - God's Grace - Part 4

 … having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

⁵ إِذْ سَبَقَ فَعَيَّنَنَا فِي الْمَحَبَّةِ لِيَتَّخِذَنَا أَبْنَاءً لَهُ بِيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ. وَذَلِكَ مُوَافِقٌ لِلْقَصْدِ الَّذِي سُرَّتْ بِهِ مَشِيئَتُهُ،

 ⁶ بِغَرَضِ مَدْحِ مَجْدِ نِعْمَتِهِ الَّتِي بِهَا أَعْطَانَا حُظْوَةً لَدَيْهِ فِي الْمَحْبُوبِ:

Ephesians 1:5-6

Ephesians 1:5–6 teaches us that God’s will was to adopt us as His own through the work of Christ. God’s will is that we would have the strongest possible relationship with Him through the most precious relationship He has ever created which is His relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.

Every believer in Jesus as his/her Lord and Saviour is immensely loved by God and we are adopted into His spiritual family, we are His children. Salvation is a position of great blessing, each one of us can enjoy being a child of God and receive His blessings and gifts of mercy and grace and start living eternity NOW.

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? ¹¹ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

ام اي انسان منكم اذا سأله ابنه خبزا يعطيه حجرا .

10 وان سأله سمكة يعطيه حية .

11 فان كنتم وانتم اشرار تعرفون ان تعطوا اولادكم عطايا جيدة فكم بالحري ابوكم الذي في السموات يهب خيرات للذين يسألونه .

Mathew 7:9-11

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and deep inseparable love. Thank You Father who is in heaven that when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour and surrendered to His leadership over my life, I was adopted into Your family and that I am now loved and accepted by You. Thank You God for the riches of Your grace. Thank You that You have said that as Your children we can come boldly to Your throne of grace, and obtain mercy, in time of need. Hebrews 4:16. Father God, I come boldly to Your throne of grace and ask You to help me to always seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, for Jesus said that when we seek them first, all other things will be added unto us. In Jesus’ name I pray, To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

July 20 Devotion - God's Grace -Part 3

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

 ⁹ فَقَالَ لِي: «نِعْمَتِي تَكْفِيكَ، لأَنَّ قُدْرَتِي تُكَمَّلُ فِي الضَّعْفِ!» فَأَنَا أَرْضَى بِأَنْ أَفْتَخِرَ مَسْرُوراً بِالضَّعَفَاتِ الَّتِي فِيَّ، لِكَيْ تُخَيِّمَ عَلَيَّ قُدْرَةُ الْمَسِيحِ.

2 Corinthians 12:9

When we are weak, we need the energizing work of the Holy Spirit to sustain us. Isaiah encourages us that God “Gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength”

يَهِبُ الْمَنْهُوكَ قُوَّةً وَيَمْنَحُ الضَّعِيفَ قُدْرَةً عَظِيمَةً.

Isaiah 40:29

We need to rely fully on God and praise Him ahead of and in expectation of His grace and support.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love for me. Lord, I praise You, I glorify You and I rejoice in Your grace. Your grace is sufficient for me. Lord, in my weakest moments, assure me that the power of Christ will rest upon me. I believe that when your grace abounds my weakness will be transformed into strength and I will soar like an eagle and I shall run and not be weary. Heavenly Father, let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. In the name of the only begotten Son of God, the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Jesus The Christ, my Lord and Saviour, I pray. To Him be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.
