September 27 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 1- I am God's Child

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

John 1:12

Be freed from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Romans 8:21

Does this apply to everyone? I believe it applies only to those who have surrendered their lives to Christ and accepted the fact that He bore their sins in His own body at The Cross and have declared Him as their Lord and Saviour. At that moment they are born again through the spirit and become children of God.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God, and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. Thank You Lord that You redeemed me and granted me forgiveness of my sins, according to the riches of Your grace. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can continue to declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour and Jesus may continue to dwell in my heart through faith. Thank You Father God for Your abundant blessings and love. I praise You and glorify You Lord. In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the majesty, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,

September 22 Devotion - A bright new beginning

The disciples were stunned and lost when Jesus was crucified, they lost total hope.

They regained hope when He rose from the dead and was with them again. Then He ascended to the Father. While they sadly gazed to the heavens angels told them:

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Acts 1:11

What the Disciples saw when Jesus was crucified and when He ascended to Heaven was an ending, however God saw both situations as a bright and glorious beginning.

We can apply this lesson to everything that happens to us in life. Some things come to an end however they may be the beginning of something much better. This even applies to a believer’s life where it may be seen as an end however in God’s plan, He/She is starting a bright new beginning.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, as You sent angels to the disciples; to deliver Your message; let me receive Your plan for my life and help me to move from the sorrow and pain of the endings to the joy of Your bright new beginnings. Lord, I thank You for endings that are truly new beginnings. Strengthen my faith Lord to take the next step. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Lord God, I praise You, lift You up on high, stand in awe of You and glorify Your holy name. In the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus The Christ, the only begotten Son of God, I pray. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,

September 20 Devotion - Bless The Lord at all times

I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Psalm 34:1

O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.

Isaiah 33:2

It would be great to wake up every morning anticipating and expecting God’s blessings and to follow that with praises for The Almighty all day.

Whatever is happening to us or around us we have the option to choose thoughts and words that empower us and give us joy; or thoughts and words that can diminish our enthusiasm and negatively impact our health.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, please teach me to wake up with enthusiasm regarding each day and fill my mouth with words of praise for Your blessings, love, and grace and remind me to keep doing that all day for You have promised: ‘For those who honour Me I will honour’ 1 Samuel 2:30.  Lord, I rejoice in Your promise to pour out Your favour on me and lead my life, and to bless me with health, strength and blessings all the days of my life. God bless me with the gift of always having Your name on my lips. Father God, I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name. I declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour. In the name of Your only begotten Son Jesus, I pray to You Father. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty, and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,
