November 27 Devotion - God is Our Merciful Father

‘Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you. Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act.’

‘I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.’

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and inseparable love. Father You are The God of Hope, fill me with Your Joy and Peace. (Romans 15:13). Give me wisdom to be ‘still’ in Your presence and the patience to wait for You to act. Teach me take delight in You LORD for You are the soul comforter. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and I pray in His Holy Name. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

November 26 Devotion - God's Spiritual Gift for Your Life

You are my portion, O Lord; I have said that I would keep Your words.   

              أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ  نَصِيبِي، فَأَعِدُكَ بِطَاعَةِ شَرِيعَتِكَ.

Psalm 119:57

Sometimes we look at other believers and wish we had their spiritual gifts or their life message. God builds a life message in many different ways. Each one of us has a different message. Though you may gain many insightful lessons from those who are strong in their faith, your life is unique and special before God. He has a message for you that no one else can share.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and inseparable. Lord, I praise You, I glorify You and I rejoice in Your grace. Lord, give me a love for Your Word. Teach me to study Your Word and to keep it. You are my portion, O Lord; help me to develop spiritually. Guide me God in meditation and worship. Give me the discipline and determination to spend time alone with Jesus. I trust that soon You will clearly reveal Your message for my life in a very obvious way. Jesus please strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being so that I can be strong and of good courage in the face of challenging circumstances. Give me victory O’Lord over my thoughts and the enemy to my soul and keep me on course. Help me Lord to bring all my thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Christ and to become Christ-like. Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. ‘

November 25 Devotion- Intercession - Praying for each other

Intercession is not just praying for someone else's needs. Intercession is praying with the real hope and real intent that God would step in and act for a positive effect for some specific other person(s). It is trusting that God will act, even if it's not in the way or timing we seek.

The best gift we can give each other is to intercede for each other. Praying for another person not only helps that person find God in the midst of trouble, but also helps us recognize the blessings that God gives us daily.

Jesus prayed for us to The Father, and the apostle Paul prayed for others to Jesus and God.

 

“I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

I invite you to pray along with the Apostle Paul for others in your lives:

‘I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, ¹⁷ so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, ¹⁸ may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, ¹⁹ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.’

November 24 Devotion - God's Glory is upon you

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

قومي استنيري لانه قد جاء نورك ومجد الرب اشرق عليك.

Isaiah 60:1 اشعيا

I believe God has wonderful things planned for each one of us and that He will give us blessings that may currently seem impossible to us. Even the dreams we may have given up on, God has not given up on, as long as they are aligned with His will and plan for our lives.

We need to listen to God with our hearts and not let discouragement hold us back. Through faith each one of us can receive all the blessings God has prepared for us individually and move forward in the destiny He has planned for each one of us.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and inseparable love. Thank You Lord for choosing me to be Your child and for preparing a bright future for me. Help me Lord; through the Holy Spirit; to accept Your blessings with a humble heart and to always honour You and praise Your Holy Name. Thank You for letting Your glory shine upon me. Help me to open the door to Your abundance in all areas of my life. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and I pray in His Holy Name. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.
