March 4 Devotion - We are witnesses of Christ

“But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

We each have a role to talk about the good news and the truth about Jesus to all those who do not believe and/or do not know the good news and the truth. Do you know anyone whom you can help? Even if you just forward devotions to them, that is a beginning.

Here is the good news:

“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Thank You Father that You have given me power through The Holy Spirit so that I can be a witness to You. Expand my focus Jesus, and bring me into harmony with Your divine purpose of reaching the world with the good news of the Gospel and the truth about Your identity. Jesus, I pray that You continue to strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can help others to believe in You and feel your presence in their lives. Thank You Lord for loving me with a deep and everlasting love, thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, I lift You up on high, and glorify Your Holy Name. Now to Him who is able to carry out His purpose and do infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP) Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,
Wagdi Henein
