June 23 Devotion - Jesus is The Good Shepherd

 

    

It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

 

اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الرَّبَّ هُوَ اللهُ . هُوَ صَنَعَنَا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ، نَحْنُ شَعْبُهُ وَقَطِيعُ مَرْعَاهُ.

Psalm 100:3

 

 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

 

أَنَا الرَّاعِي الصَّالِحُ، وَالرَّاعِي الصَّالِحُ يَبْذِلُ حَيَاتَهُ فِدَى خِرَافِهِ.

John 10:11 

 

God has always provided for His people through His unlimited resources. What a fantastic feeling it is to know that God’s love for us is so infinite that Jesus laid down His life to redeem us.

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and love. Thank You Lord that Your power is absolute. Your provision is the alpha and the omega; it extends from the provision for the body to the provision of eternity. Thank You Lord that You always provide for me. Lord, I praise You and glorify You. I pray to You in the name of my Saviour Jesus Christ. To Jesus be the power, the majesty, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
