September 30 Devotion - Bless The Lord at all times

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 34:1

O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.
Isaiah 33:2

It would be great to wake up every morning expecting God’s blessings and to follow that with praises for The Almighty all day. Our words have a powerful impact on our lives, for God’s word teaches us that:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:21

Whatever is happening to us or around us we have the option to choose words that empower us and give us joy; or words that can kill our enthusiasm and our health.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name. I declare to the world that Christ is my Lord and Saviour. Lord, teach me to wake up with enthusiasm regarding each day and fill my mouth with words of praise for Your blessings, love, and power and remind me to keep doing that all day for You have promised: ‘For those who honour Me I will honour’ 1 Samuel 2:30.  Lord, I rejoice in Your promise to pour out Your favour on me and lead my life, and to bless me with health, strength and blessing all the days of my life. God bless me with the gift of always having Your name on my lips. In the name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Your only begotten Son Jesus, I pray to You Father. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

September 29 Devotion - God's plans for us

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done…, For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Isaiah 46:10
Jeremiah 29:11

We all sometimes worry about the future and wish we could see it. God sees the end from the beginning and He already knows the outcome, God never ends in defeat. Let us not be too absorbed by what will happen in the future.
Whatever is happening in our lives now, let us remember that God’s promises never fade and…
We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’
Romans 8:28

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. I praise You and glorify You. Lord I am holding You to Your promise that when I pass through the waters, You will be with me; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow me. When I walk through the fire, I shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch me. Isaiah 43:2 Teach me to wait upon You LORD because You said that ‘’they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
My heavenly Father, In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. Psalm 94:19
Thank You Jesus that You have asked The Father and He has sent us The Comforter to live in the heart of each believer. I ask in Christ's name, pleading His merit and intercession, and I depend upon that plea. To Him be the power, the glory and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

September 28 Devotion - Talking with God

Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
 Psalm 105:1, Psalm 16:2

When we set our hearts toward the Lord, our faith is strengthened, and we develop the habit of talking to Him throughout the day.
Unfortunately, we try to resolve problems on our own or discuss them with friends and/or relatives instead of immediately turning to God. Imagine calling a believer and instead of offering you empathy, sympathy and support, he/she says, “I appreciate you calling me, and would love to help you, however, have you talked first to God about it? Have you prayed?”

“When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Mathew 6: 6

At all times and especially as soon as we encounter any kind of problem/challenge let us immediately turn to God and request: Abba Father, guide me in my feelings, thoughts, actions, and words.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. LORD, I call upon Your name. Teach me to always seek Your wisdom, guidance and support. Help me to always first ask The Holy Spirit who dwells in me to take over. O my soul, say to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.” Father, create opportunities for me to make Your deeds and blessings known among people. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, and glorify Your Holy Name. I proclaim to the world that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. In the name of Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords, I pray to You Father. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

September 25 Devotion - We are ambassadors for Christ

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21

To reconcile is to exchange enmity for friendship, and it usually requires that the cause of enmity or hostility be removed. The cause of hostility between God and man was removed by Jesus taking on the sins of the world. It is now possible for us to have a personal relationship with God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, Jesus’ blood makes it possible for God to change our status from being an enemy of God back into a right relationship with Him. Christ’s blood is the bridge, the peace offering that reconciles us to God. God wants us to become His ambassadors to take this message to those who have not heard it and to those who heard it before but have hardened their hearts.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. Thank You Lord that as a follower of Your Son Jesus I am reconciled to You God through the atoning death of Jesus on The Cross on my behalf.  Thank You God that through Jesus, I can have a personal relationship with You God.
My heavenly Father, strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can become an ambassador for Christ and bring the message of reconciliation to all, for it is Your desire that all people be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4
In the name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

In Him,
