December 30 Devotion - Our God of Restoration

Some of us, or all of us, may have had some or many disappointments in 2016; but instead of dwelling on the past and living in defeat, we can choose in this coming New Year 2017 to focus on Gods promises to us, because God wants to restore everything that's broken in our lives for He says:
I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—
Joel 2:25
He wants to restore our connection with Him, our joy, our peace, our health, and our finances. There is however a way we have to follow in order to be able to receive God’s blessings, there is a key: each one of us has to visualize with clarity receiving the blessings and each one of us must:
be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:1-2
Today, let us choose to focus on the future and release past hurts through forgiveness. Let us proclaim that we are children of a loving God, a God of restoration.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for loving me with a deep and everlasting love, thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Lord, thank You for choosing to restore my life. Thank You for the promises and truth of Your Word that set me free. Jesus strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can renew my mind today and visualize with clarity receiving all the blessings I desire which are in accordance with Your will for my life. Father, all I need You have already provided for, please let me experience Your blessings and restore all the lost years which the locusts have eaten. Thank You for Your love for me. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, I lift You up on high, and glorify Your Holy Name. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,

December 29 Devotion - We cannot be separated from God’s love for us

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35-39 New Living Translation (NLT)

God’s love for His children, the ones who have accepted Jesus as their Saviour and Lord over their lives, can never change or be altered by whatever means or circumstances. Nothing we can do can make God love us any more or any less —indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God for us that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. Thank You Lord that nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate me from Your love for me that is revealed in Christ Jesus my Lord.  I pray that I, being rooted and established in love, may have power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. In Your Holy Name Jesus I pray. To You be the glory, the power , the dominion and the majesty forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.

December 28 Devotion - PEACE BARRIERS

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.
2 Peter 3:14

Our quest for true peace begins at birth. As babies, we long for our mother’s comforting arms; as children we yearn for happy experiences that are void of fear; and as adults we strive to find success and fulfillment through jobs and relationships. These pursuits are desirable, but temporal.

Lasting peace cannot be attained through our own efforts, but rather through Christ in us. The peace that comes from Him is eternal. Until you have peace with God, you cannot experience the peace of God.

If you have accepted Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and are not experiencing peace, it is time to examine your relationship with God. Your bond with Him is the foundation upon which real peace is built.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for loving me with a deep and everlasting love, thank You for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Lord, I long for Your peace as surely as I have sought peace on my own throughout my life. Jesus, please show me the barriers to everlasting peace in my life and help me to overcome them through The Holy Spirit. Father God expose anything that may be preventing me from receiving the peace that only You can give, and help me to listen with an open heart and receive what You reveal to me through Your teachings, the Scriptures, or Your own voice. When the barriers are removed, help me to rejoice in Your faithfulness Lord. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, to Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever,  and unto ages of ages. Amen.

December 27 Devotion - WALKING WISELY

What one thing would you ask of God if you knew absolutely that it would not be refused? Solomon had such a choice. After David died he became King over Israel and while he was at a place called Gibeon the Lord appeared to him in a dream during the night.
"God said; 'Ask! What shall I give you?”
I Kings 3:5
Solomon prayed for:
"Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"
I Kings 3:9

Solomon was asking for wisdom to be a good King. The Bible says:
The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
I Kings 3:10
The Lord was so pleased with Solomon's request that he said:
"See, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you."
I Kings 3:12
Solomon became the wisest man that ever lived. But that isn't all. God told him that because he had asked for wisdom instead of long life, riches or the life of his enemies:
"I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days."
I Kings 3:13
What is really in your heart?
It may surprise you in the end that God gives you what you ask for - and maybe even all that you did not ask. Just like Solomon! Solomon's prayer was a great one because his heart was right when he prayed it. Listen to God's promise for those who have such hearts:
"I dwell in the high and holy place; With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones."
Isaiah 57:15
The Apostle Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom:
15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself. Ephesians 1:15-23
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.
James 1:5
