May 1 Devotion - My tears are important to God

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
 Psalm 56:8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Ecclesiastes 3:1

I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.

Joel 2:25

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You that You care so much about every detail of my life. Through Your grace and mercy You feel for me and record every sorrow and collect every tear I have shed. You see the longings and desires of my heart. Thank You Father that You have my best interest at heart. Lord, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being so that I can keep standing, keep believing, and keep doing the right things because the One who collects my tears and repays for the years the locusts have eaten will restore every area in my life in His perfect timing. Father God thank You that Your deep steadfast love for me endures forever. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings in my life, and for the riches of Your grace upon my life. Now to Him who is able to carry out His purpose and do infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Ephesians 3:20-21 Amen.

Jesus loves you,

April 30 Devotion - What Does God Really Want?

God our Savior, wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
1 Timothy 2: 3-6
God wants everyone to be ‘saved’. It is His desire. That is why He came down in the form of a man Jesus Christ to save us.

He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].

2 Corinthians 5:21
So how do we become saved?
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10

It is God’s desire that You and I be saved and everyone else to be saved. You and I have a role to help everyone be saved by telling them about the good news of the Gospel. Jesus asked us to spread the word and let people know about salvation through Jesus Christ. Two of the very important truths and messages that Jesus told us are:
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me
John14:6

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you

Matthew 28:19-20

So my friend we have a responsibility toward ourselves to make sure we are saved and we have a responsibility toward others to help them know the truth and The Way to salvation: Jesus Christ. Whether they accept and when or whether they do not accept that is the role of The Holy Spirit.

We all need to do what God desires, it is not just up to Priests, Pastors or Missionaries only, it is up to each and every Christian. Have you talked about Jesus to any none believer, do you talk about Jesus when you are in the company of other Christians? It is the ‘Great Commission’ that Jesus gave us. The simplest thing you can do is forward these devotions or other devotions to someone, pray for them, share the devotions on your Facebook page, forward these emails. The alternatives in this high-tech age are immense. Let’s act on God’s desire as He wants all people to be saved, let’s communicate in the method you feel most at ease with. Direct, phone, tablet or computer.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love for me. Lord, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I do Your will and share Your Gospel and help others to be saved. Lord please sink this message deep into my heart and help me achieve Your desire. God I pray to You in the name of Your precious Son my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

April 29 Devotion - Remember NOW your Creator

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”

Ecclesiastes 12:1

What is your definition of youth? I look at it this way: When I was 10 years old, someone who was 30 in comparison looked ‘old’. When I reached 30 I remember telling my friends wow we are ‘old’, how did that happen so quickly? We are no longer ‘youth’, however I quickly realized that 20 years into the future we will look at 30 years old as ‘youth’. That example carries on, when you are 90, 60 looks like ‘youth’. So Ecclesiastes 12:1 applies to all of us independent of age, let us remember our creator NOW.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, help me Lord to remember You NOW and all the time in my youth and in my ‘old’ age, in my going out and in my coming in, in my labour and in my leisure, in my laughter and in my tears. Thank you Father that through my joy in You I will never get to a state where I will say about my years: “I have no pleasure in them”. Thank You my heavenly Father that You care so much about me that I can always cast all my anxiety upon You. Father God I pray to You in the name of The King of kings and Lord of lords, my Redeemer and Saviour; the Lord of my life, Jesus Christ. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion before all time and now and forever. Amen.

Jesus loves you,
In Him,

April 26 Devotion - Reconciliation

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.
Isaiah 59:2

To reconcile is to exchange enmity for friendship, and it usually requires that the cause of enmity or hostility be removed. The cause of hostility between God and man was removed by Jesus taking on the sins of the world. Peace is not merely that state of calmness and ease which we seek in desperate times. It is ultimately the condition that can exist between God and man because of the redeeming work of Christ who through the Cross reconciled us with God.

Because Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins and was resurrected, those who accept Him as their Saviour and Lord over their lives are reconciled with God.

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.

2 Corinthians 5:18-19

Peace is not merely that state of calmness and ease which we seek in desperate times. Peace is ultimately the condition that can exist between God and man because of the redeeming work of Christ.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings. Thank You Jesus for the precious gift of reconciliation and peace that You gave me through the Cross. Without this gift of grace I was separated from God. Thank You Jesus for paying the price of this fathomless gift of grace at the Cross. In Jesus’ name I pray. To Him who is able to keep me from stumbling and to present me before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore. Amen. Jude 1:24-25
