“No one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, he pours new wine into new wineskins.
Mark 2:22
When we accept Jesus as our Saviour and make Him Lord over our lives, we should become dead to the old sinful nature and alive in the new-life in Christ. We need to keep the self-life nailed to the cross so that the imputed life of Christ may be manifested in all we do. As Christians we believe that God will change our hearts to want to do what He wants us to do.
Please listen to the song and join in on the prayer:
In the crushing
In the pressing
You are making new wine
In the soil
I now surrender
You are breaking new ground
So I yield to You into Your careful hand
When I trust You I don't need to understand
Make me Your vessel
Make me an offering
Make me whatever You want me to be
I came here with nothing
But all You have given me
Jesus bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me
Jesus, bring new wine out of me
'Cause where there is new wine
There is new power
