March 31 Devotion- Why are you cast down, O my soul?

Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance.

Psalm 42:5

I realize that discouragement comes to everybody at one time or another, but with prayer to The Lord, He does not allow discouragement to stay. I believe that when one realizes the feeling of being cast down, that is the first step to overcome discouragement.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father please remind me of Your past care and provision and strengthen my faith to overcome sadness and discouragement. Help me to focus on You Lord and to remember that Your grace and loving kindness will rekindle my hope. Lord help me to stay focused on the fact that even though I sometimes feel lonely, I am never alone, because You said: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:17-20. Help me Lord to totally absorb Your commandment and affirmation: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 Lord help me to internalize Your words to the Apostle Paul and to feel them in the depth of my heart, soul, mind and in my spirit: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 Hope in God, O my soul, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. In the name of The King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the power, and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

March 30 Devotion - My tears are important to God

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

Psalm 56:8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, Joel 2:25

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You that You care so much about every detail of my life. Through Your grace and mercy, You feel for me and record every sorrow and collect every tear I have shed. You see the longings and desires of my heart. Thank You Father that that You have my best interest at heart. Lord, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being so that I can keep standing, keep believing, and keep doing the right things because the One who collects my tears and repays for the years the locusts have eaten will restore every area in my life in His perfect timing. Thank You Father for Your abundant blessings and Your unfailing, deep, everlasting, and inseparable love for me. Father God I pray to You in the name of Your precious Son, The King of kings and Lord of lords, my Redeemer, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Jesus be the glory, the power, the dominion, the majesty and the blessings forever and ever. Amen..

Jesus loves you,

In Him,

March 29 Devotion- Hosanna in The Highest - Yesterday was Palm Sunday in North America

As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”

4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

5 “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”

6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. 8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,

“Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”

10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

Mathew 21:1-10 NIV

Note: A colt that had not been used was considered holy by the Jews and was fit to carry a king.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself and others:                         Jesus, I pray that as You entered Jerusalem, that You enter my heart triumphant and welcomed. I lay in front of You my palms in prayer regarding everyone who has not yet accepted You as Lord and Saviour that they do so, and that You enter their hearts and fill their hearts with Your peace and love. In the name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Jesus be the glory, the majesty, the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Jesus loves you,

In Him,
