June 24 Devotion - Attitude

Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]

فليكن فيكم هذا الفكر الذي في المسيح يسوع ايضا

Philippians 2:5 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Bible says that faith pleases God. An attitude of gratitude is pleasing to God and helps to build us up. When I look at all we had prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and I (maybe even you) took for granted and only realized their presence when I lost them, makes me realize that I should not take for granted all the things that we still have and be grateful for them. Now that life is coming back to ‘normal’ slowly, I must keep the lesson to be grateful for everything. An optimistic attitude is not a luxury; it is a necessity. The way we look at life will determine how we feel, how we perform and how well we get along with other people. Prayer and positive affirmations can help us overpower negativism. We need to keep believing in face of all types of adversity, we need to keep an attitude of faith and expectancy because ‘attitude determines altitude’. It’s been said that a negative attitude is like a flat tire, we can’t go anywhere unless we change it.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, please give me Your divine perspective and the right positive and humble attitude. Keep me from discouragement, worry, and self-sufficiency. I know that your promises are true and that You will change all my circumstances to work for the good. Thank You Father God for Your abundant blessings and love. I praise You and glorify You in Jesus’ name. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

والقادر ان يفعل فوق كل شيء اكثر جدا مما نطلب او نفتكر بحسب القوة التي تعمل فينا

له المجد في الكنيسة في المسيح يسوع الى جميع اجيال دهر الدهور.آمين

 Jesus loves you,

In Him,
