December 19 Devotion - In my weakness

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

When we are weak, we need the energizing work of the Holy Spirit to sustain us.

Isaiah encourages us that God Gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength”

يَهِبُ الْمَنْهُوكَ قُوَّةً وَيَمْنَحُ الضَّعِيفَ قُدْرَةً عَظِيمَةً.

Isaiah 40:29

I need to rely fully on God and praise Him in expectation of His support.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:
Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings. Jesus please strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being so that I can be strong and of good courage in the face of weakness and challenging circumstances. Lord, in my weakest moments, assure me that the power of Christ is resting upon me. Strengthen and bless me so that I can say and feel that Your grace is sufficient for me. Let Your grace abound and transform my weakness into strength and let me soar like an eagle and run and not be weary.
Heavenly Father, let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. Lord, I praise You, I glorify You and I rejoice in Your grace. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. ‘Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.’ Ephesians 3:20-21

Jesus loves you
In Him,
Wagdi Henein
