May 28 Devotion - Carpe Diem (Seize the Day)

This is the day the LORD has made;
       let us rejoice and be glad in it.

هذا هو اليوم الذي صنعه الرب. نبتهج ونفرح فيه.

 Psalm 118:24

 O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.

يَارَبُّ ارْحَمْنَا. إِيَّاكَ انْتَظَرْنَا، كُنْ عَضُدَنَا فِي الصَّبَاحِ، وَخَلاَصَنَا فِي أَثْنَاءِ الْمِحْنَةِ.

Isaiah 33:2

joy comes in the morning.

فِي الصَّباحِ كُنتُ مُبتَهِجاً!

Psalm 30:5

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your deep, everlasting, and inseparable love for me and Your abundant blessings.

Lord God I praise You and glorify You. Please give me:

v    a rainbow for every storm,

v    a smile for every tear,

v    a promise for every care,

v    a blessing in each trial,

v    a faithful friend to share the problems life sends

v    a sweet song for every sigh

v    an answer for each prayer.

God I pray to You in the name of Your precious Son; The King of kings and Lord of lords, my Redeemer, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, the power, the dominion, the majesty and the blessings since the beginning of time, now, and forevermore. Amen.
