August 9 Devotion - Your DNA in God - Part 22 - I am God's temple. I am complete in Christ

You are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

1 Corinthians 3:16, Colossians 2:10

انكم هيكل الله وروح الله يسكن فيكم.

وانتم مملوؤون فيه الذي هو راس كل رياسة وسلطان.

Christ by his Spirit dwells in all true believers. Christians are set apart for God and His service. We are sacred to Him and must not do anything that would alienate ourselves from Him, or corrupt and pollute ourselves, and thereby make ourselves unfit for His use. We should detest, and avoid, what would defile God's temple.

We are in Jesus, made full. In Him dwells the fullness; being in Him, we are filled. We are complete in Him. We need nothing more. He, the head of all principality and power, supplies every need.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and love. Thank You Jesus that Your spirit dwells in me. Thank You Jesus that in You I am made full, and You supply all my needs. Thank You Lord that my DNA reveals that I am a child of God and I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can detest and avoid what would defile me. I am honoured to be God's temple and be sacred to You God, make me worthy to be of service to You. I pray in the Holy Name of Jesus who is the head of all principality and power. To Him be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
