October 19 Devotion - God's Love- A Calling Love

You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

1 Peter 2:9

 

 انتم فجنس مختار وكهنوت ملوكي امة مقدسة شعب اقتناء لكي تخبروا بفضائل الذي دعاكم من الظلمة الى نوره العجيب.

God shows His love for us is by calling us out of the darkness of sin and into the light of fellowship with Him.

Even more, because God has called us to Himself, He promises to protect that relationship.

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

John 10:28

وانا اعطيها حياة ابدية ولن تهلك الى الابد ولا يخطفها احد من يدي .

 

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and love. Lord You are Good and I praise You and glorify You. LORD, I pray that out of Your  glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may continue to dwell in my heart through faith. Thank You Lord that through Christ I am considered one of Your own special people. Thank You that through Your grace Lord You chose me and called me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Strengthen me Lord to abide in Jesus, the vine, and receive eternal life. Thank You Lord for Your love and for Your assurance that my spirit shall never perish; and no one shall snatch me out of Your hand. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
