May 29 Devotion - Jesus Christ is...

God is love.

^{1 John 4:8}

I and my Father are one.

^{John 10:30}

Therefore….Jesus Christ is the embodiment of love.

Jesus Christ (Love) is patient,

Jesus Christ is kind,

Jesus Christ does not boast,

Jesus Christ is not proud.

Jesus Christ does not dishonor others,

Jesus Christ is not self-seeking,

Jesus Christ is not easily angered,

Jesus Christ keeps no record of wrongs,

Jesus Christ does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth,

Jesus Christ always protects,

Jesus Christ always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres,

Jesus Christ never fails.

May 28 Devotion - Absolute dependence on God

For in Him we live and move and have our being

لاننا به نحيا ونتحرك ونوجد

Acts 17:28

We have a constant and absolute dependence on God and He is continually sustaining us.

Our absolute dependence on God and in God is such that we owe to Him the ability to perform even the slightest motion. We owe to Him our continued and prolonged existence.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and everlasting, deep and inseparable love. Lord, I praise You and glorify You. Lord, thank You for Your gifts from the lowest pulsation of life to the highest powers of action and of continued existence. God, I acknowledge my constant and absolute dependence on You for in You Lord I live and move and have my being. I declare Jesus as my Lord and Saviour and I pray in His Holy Name. To Him be the power, the glory, the majesty, the blessings, and the dominion forever and ever, Amen.

May 27 Devotion - God is faithful to His promises

So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.

لنتمسك باقرار الرجاء راسخا لان الذي وعد هو امين.

Hebrews 10:23 AMP

Let’s focus on God’s grace and unconditional and on His power and ability to control all circumstances.

Let us focus on His always-listening ear and His always-watchful eye.

I believe that when we keep focusing on God, our thoughts about our problems diminish and our hope increases.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and inseparable, deep and everlasting love for me. Lord, I choose to see Your loving arms wrapped around me lifting me up to safety, provision, and peace. I thank You that You are a reliable and trustworthy God and You promised that You will never leave me nor forsake me, and I know that You are faithful. I choose today to concentrate on You, to hold fast my confession that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour and in His mighty name I pray. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. May 26 Devotion - Access to God

Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

 فَفِي المَسِيحِ نَقدِرُ كِلانا أنْ نَقتَرِبَ مِنَ الآبِ بِالرُّوحِ الواحِدِ.

Ephesians 2:18

Through Jesus, we all have access through the influence of the Holy Spirit, unto our Heavenly Father, God Almighty. No spirit can have access to God except through Jesus Christ, and Jesus only introduces to God the spirit that has received His Holy Spirit. Jesus said:

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

قال له يسوع انا هو الطريق والحق والحياة .ليس احد يأتي الى الآب الا بي .

John 14:6

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and inseparable, deep and everlasting love for me. I am grateful that I was purchased with the precious blood of Christ and I now have access to God through the Holy Spirit because I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour. Lord I praise You and glorify You. Jesus I acknowledge that You are the only way to The Father, and that You are The Truth and The life. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Holy Spirit and I pray that through Your grace Jesus will continue to dwell in my heart through faith. In the Holy Name of Jesus I pray. To Him be the glory and the power and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.

May 21 Devotion - Keep yourselves in God's love

For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.

...But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Romans 7:19, Jude1:20–21

فَأَنَا لاَ أَعْمَلُ الصَّلاَحَ الَّذِي أُرِيدُهُ؛ وَإِنَّمَا الشَّرُّ الَّذِي لاَ أُرِيدُهُ فَإِيَّاهُ أُمَارِسُ

وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ أَيُّهَا الأَحِبَّاءُ، فَابْنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ عَلَى إِيمَانِكُمُ الأَقْدَسِ، وَصَلُّوا دَائِماً فِي الرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ.َاحْفَظُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ فِي مَحَبَّةِ اللهِ، مُنْتَظِرِينَ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ إِذْ يَعُودُ وَيَأْخُذُكُمْ لِتَحْيَوْا مَعَهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

Abba Father, thank You for Your abundant blessings and Your deep, everlasting and inseparable love. Lord, I cannot do it on my own. Replace my self-effort and my problem solving techniques with Your power. Help me learn to walk by faith. Jesus, You are my Strength and my Shield. You are the One who can fortify my human frailty with Your supernatural grace. I lean on You today. Saviour, saturate my mind with Your Word and fill me with Your Spirit. Keep me in Your love and strength as I await Your return Jesus. In Your Holy name I pray. Amen.
