November 28 Devotion - Following God's direction

By faith Abraham, when he was called [by God], obeyed by going to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went, not knowing where he was going.

بِالإِيمَانِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَمَّا دُعِيَ أَطَاعَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَتِيدًا أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ مِيرَاثًا، فَخَرَجَ وَهُوَ لاَ يَعْلَمُ إِلَى أَيْنَ يَأْتِي.

        

 Hebrews 11:8 AMP

What we hear from our heavenly Father will be affected by our attitude. Our relationship with God also will be impacted for better or worse by how we view God Himself. The only way to view God the right way is to know Him intimately through His Word.

I invite you to repeat the following prayer for yourself:

Abba Father, thank You for loving me with a deep and everlasting love and for Your abundant blessings in my life. LORD, I pray that out of Your glorious riches You strengthen me with power through Your Spirit in my inner being, so that I can obey You and depend totally on You in all matters spiritual and worldly. God I praise You, revere You, worship You, I stand in awe of You, I lift You up on high, and glorify Your Holy Name. In the mighty name of Jesus; my Lord and Saviour; I pray to You Father. To Jesus be the power, the glory, the majesty and the dominion forever and ever and unto ages of all ages. Amen.
